
It's crazy to think that up until about 30 years ago a Pencil, Ruler, Compass, and X-Acto Kit were the primary tools for
Graphic Artists. No mouse clicking in
Adobe, just long hours with half-cooked work spread across big tables. For me it's crucial to stay fluent with the
crafts of the past. I've learned a lot about patience and committing to decisions with my work when the
computer is off. I hope they will always teach this stuff in Art Schools. It is the foundation.
