The crowd favorite last night at the
Coincidence World Opening was this series of ten 11"x14" cut-paper compositions that I dubbed "Matthew Scissorhands". I worked on the series
last fall and promised myself I'd keep it top-secret until on display (easier said than done for a blogger like me). This work was a deliberate effort to parallel the aesthetics from my "Vectorfunk" style of digital illustration, but with the computer off. It was a lot of fun, and I'm very pleased with the responses last night. Contact
