I'm back in my studio now continuing my annual Monochrome Series. This next group will focus on mosaics constructed with X-acto cut thick watercolor paper, somewhat of a surgical procedure requiring a quarantined workspace and steady clean hands. *More B/W Work From This Winter.
After a nice run of these I will hit the other end of the spectrum and make some fun ink wash paintings that embrace chance and the unpredictable nature of wet ink. For now I am enjoying making these non-paintings that come to life with directional lighting and pronounced shadows.
