This one especially feels like an expansion of the flow of last year's B/W Series # 8 (ink on paper) combined with the forms of my Gravity Series (spraypaint on canvas) from two years ago. Organic geometry.
I am really enjoying the versatility of top shelf watercolor paper. It can take a beating, round after round, and still hold together. Soak, scrub, dry, ink, repeat. It's also a great way to make paintings for exhibitions on the other side of the world. An entire show worth of work on paper takes the same space as just one canvas, then it's just a matter of getting some classy glass and frames.
