CORE DECO : Jacquard Afghans.
For the third release of the CORE DECO debut collection... Black & White Jacquard Afghans.

Shed Session : Phase 4.
Had a blast painting this one! The fourth recoat of my friend Kris's shed in Massachusetts (See Past Years). For this one I went with the Freeform Flow Style I've been pushing ( 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 ) and set a strict palette of Black, White, and 2 Greys. Really pleased with how it turned out :) Click-Zoom.
It was a true freestyle with no sketch until I was on site. On the drive down I thought a lot about how to push the 4 shades as far as they could go. I decided to split the mural on the corner line and have the left side outlined in black and the right side in white. It resulted in a nice op-art shift at the corner.
Some process shots. Painting like this is the most fun. I really don't know how it will turn out until it's done and this keeps me engaged and curious the entire time. Can't wait to see it covered in snow this winter!
Petro / MWM / Slak : Moscow Archway Collabo.
Last week on my last day in Moscow I had the honor of collaborating on this massive downtown archway with PETRO and SLAK. I first met these two in August at the Flacon Graffiti Jam but I was already paying attention to their work. These dudes are producing some of the most exciting graffiti these days. Progressive. Super clean. No outlines. Ace colorways. This was a real fun wall to paint! Click-Zoom.
After a looong stretch of entirely geometric work for my Sun Ray Ricochet exhibition I was ready to bust out some organic freeform flow. I took the middle section and tried my hardest to be as clean with my lines as these two. As Slak put it "Painting without outline make you think more." True indeed! Click-Zoom.

Creative Future Magazine.
Just got my copy of Creative Future Magazine from Denmark. I have an 8-page feature showcasing recent works and a fun Q&A. They even used one of my paintings as the cover art. Thanks Christian.

Greetings From Portland, Maine!
Last month we Portland, Maine-iac graffiti cats converged for the annual "Wall Of Fame" jam at The Asylum nightclub. King Rich dropped the A-Bomb at the strategy meeting for this year's theme... A remix of This Vintage Postcard, with a Spray Can Lighthouse, and each of us painting our 'Nom de Plume' inside of the blockbuster letters. The mural turned out A++. In order of appearance : RICH, LEARN, TURDL, REONE, LERK, ESKO, LACK, LINK. View Zoom Snaps of All at the homie Mr. McGirt's blog. The wall was so well received by the community it made The Front Page of the Portland Press Herald today! I was on the "T" and had fun weaving some freeform flow letterform abstractions to fill the space. Check some other recent walls I painted this past Summah in this style ( 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5 ). Trying to squeeze in a few more hometown spray sessions before the the deathgrip of Wintah...

Power Your Connections.
I recently had the pleasure of designing this ad for the Buddy Media "Power Your Connections" campaign. Big thanks to the good folks at Mandala. The ad debuted today in the new issue of Advertising Age. Stay tuned for other exciting executions in the near future.
The concept is an explosion of energy when the electric plug goes into the socket. This was fun to illustrate in an abstract graphic way. I also enjoyed creating the electro-typography lock up. Thanks Buddy!
