Scotland Mural : Green Monster.
It was an honor to paint this gigantic mural at Glasgow's Woodlands Community Garden (Located Here. See map of all 10 Rudimentary Perfection Artist's Murals Here). A magnificently green environment packed with fruits, veggies, herbs, and cleverly up-cycled building materials.
It was only natural for me to take my color palette cues from the environment and have the crystalline illusions grow up the wall like green vegetation and morph into the off tints of the drab wall color.
A real fun one to paint. Especially thanks to the great weather all week and the good vibes of the garden, it's members, and the neighborhood folks (Even the beat cops stopped for a while to geek out on the optical illusions :) Photos do not do this work justice. It's my most successful environmental piece yet. It fits really well in the garden and all of the colors in the mural are overflowing out of the planter boxes surrounding the wall.
