Wall Graphic Process.
My friends over at Casemate put together this cool Process Video showing the installation of the 80' Vector Graphic I designed for their Atlanta HQ. I always prefer to do walls the old school way with paint and long days on the ladder. But when time is short a wallpaper approach can be quite impressive as well. Enjoy!

Graphis Portfolios.
Just got on board with GRAPHIS and put together a portfolio of recent projects. The major bonus of membership is having access to their 60+ Year Archive of issues and annuals. These days there are countless websites that do a great job of showcasing top creative work, but it's often hard to find concise time capsules of certain eras online. Surfing the Graphis Magazine vault is a great way to catch up with content that I've been unable to find hard copies of in specialty bookstores. I get nostalgic looking at these artifacts. My father has a great collection of issues from the 60's and 70's that I used to look at when I was a kid. That was when I declared "When I grow up I want to be a Graphic Designer." Carpe Diem.

Super-Sized Pop-Art Op-Art.
Another really fun one! A few months back Casemate (with whom I've collaborated with on iPhone Cases and 2011 Packaging Designs) commissioned me to create a gigantic vector graphic for their Atlanta HQ. Last week the vinyl install went down seamlessly.
It was exciting to work with such a large space, and combining different abstract patterning techniques. Through layering and scale of objects, the final result is rather 3D. Click-Zoom.
Full Screen Preview. Big Thanks to the Casemate Crew!

Sacred Geometry & Cosine Curves.
Making some great progress on my Hexagon Series. Of the eleven strong series, this is the only one that I'm sure is completed. Stay tuned as the others get their finishing touches. Click-Zoom.
A recurring theme in this series is the juxtaposition of Sacred Geometry and core mathematics such as Cosine Curves. At least that's what I tell people when they ask ;) Art Nerd for life!

Layers & Layers & Layers.
A couple process shots from my ongoing Hexagon Series. Really getting in there with the details now on this series of 11 canvases. Having a blast in my spacious new Painting Studio. Click-Zoom.
It's a refreshing change of pace to return to Canvas Painting after all these years of Vector Rendering. I've definitely developed a bit of ADD thanks to working on the computer so much.
I'm literally holding a brush in one hand and a hair dryer in the other hand to accelerate the paint's drying time. Ha! Stay tuned for more photos of this series as it evolves.
