Minutes / Hours / Days

Minutes / Hours / Days

It has been a very long time since I have carried a sketchbook with me while I'm on the go. Over the years I've spent countless hours drawing on napkins, newspapers, table coverings, and beer coasters... even barf bags on airplanes (one of my favorites) and then leaving the drawings there as a little surprise for the next person in the seat. It's satisfying is some way to focus so much energy on a drawing and then let it blow away in the breeze. Like a sand mandala. Or a graffiti piece destined to get buffed. But it is also a shame to not have these drawings with me now. So I went and got a nice pocket sized sketchbook. It's fun. Really enjoying my renewed interest in semi-serious doodling.
