It had been a while since I designed a Vectorfunk Type-Jam like this, so it was a lot of fun to get in there and play some big kid Tetris. MYOO is a great new creative culture network. Another complete freestyle of simple overlapping forms and unexpected loopy connections. It feels good reflecting on This Past Year of painting walls. I feel that I did a good job of pushing some new ideas and combining with ideas from the past, all the while challenging myself to paint cleaner, faster, and more spontaneously. 2012 will be the year of styles converging. Looking forward!

I'd been planning to rock these ever since the the wild success of the Vanishing Point Tees last Summer. One of which I've worn/washed 30+ times with little fading.

It was a lot of fun creating different asymmetrical compositions of transparent stacked bars. Fresh and clean.

Vectorfunk Rorschach Poster Series.

Now Available – MWM Online Store. The second installment of my annual Vectorfunk Rorschach Tests Series (see last years set). For this year I chose 3 distinctly different visual vocabularies and color stories for each. A lot of fun to design. Equally fun to observe and discuss. Enjoy!

The graphics are inspired by classic Rorschach Tests (Learn More) with a colorful & psychedelic twists.

2004 Flashback : Choose Your Own Adventure.

While surfing my Archive Vaults today I came across this one from 2004 and it inspired me to dive back into some of these ideas in future Vectorfunk explorations. This piece was one of the first "Artworks" I made using "Graphic" software. Prior to that I had mostly used Adobe Illustrator for traditional design projects like Logos & Branding. This piece represents the beginning of an important new chapter in my evolution as a graphic artist. Vectorfunk Series 1 + 2 + 3 + 4 + 5.

Painted this one with Big Bro Poesia Transcend (Mastermind behind Graffuturism & In Situ Exhibition) last week in Miami. It was a real honor to collaborate on such a big wall with him.
