As we prepared to launch our 4th season here at GLYPH CUE it became clear to me that a web revamp was in order. I redesigned the overall architecture of the site, pulled a few all nighters, did some MacGyver style photo shoots, and wrestled with a bit of code syntax. Always fun. The new site does it's job very efficiently. With only three pages it's impossible to get lost, and the garments and graphics are showcased front row. We hope you enjoy our new F/W 2010 offering. Thanks for your continued support!
Here's a sneak-peek from a new series I've been working on. The full set of 12 designs will debut in December. A nice evolution from my 2008 Revolve Series and 2006 Vectorfunk Series. Stay tuned!
Painted this one today. Been planning to do a camo graffiti piece for years. I'm please with how it came together, but next time I'll lay off on the outline and let the subtlety of the shapes define the letterforms. Another perfect example of "This looked better an hour ago". Oh well. C'est la vie. I had a blast painting it. Click-Zoom.
Cheers to low wind, skinny spray caps, and high pigment paint.
A fun Editorial/Infographic Illustration I did for the new issue of Wired Magazine. The article is about how Tesla Motors, an electric car company, have influenced and inspired other carmakers around the globe. It's always a blast working with Wired. See my previous work in 18.05 & 17.08 & 16.08. Thanks Guys! Click-Zoom.
A few of the simplified and stylized B/W vector illustrations.
New logo for my friend Harry at Assabet Strings, a Cambridge, Massachusetts Guitar Shop. Looking forward to seeing this on the window of the store and guitar headstocks. Click-Zoom.
My good friend Dustin at Faesthetic Magazine asked me to create a poster that reads "Think Faest" for their 10 Year Anniversary. Went for the interlocking Type-Jam Style I've been developing. Click-Zoom.
Also did this Greyscale Version. It's always a trip for me to see what a piece looks like when it is stripped of color. Makes the composition pop even more, No? Stay tuned for link to buy. Thanks Dustin!

WALLS ARE DANCING : "This summer, we invited mural painter Matt W. Moore to create a series of live painting performances on walls in MARSEILLE, LYON, and PARIS. Directors Le Groupuscule captured the evolution of each mural, gathering over 700,000 pictures, that were edited as a stop-motion animation to an unreleased track by Monsieur Monsieur : "Walls Are Dancing", to create this music video. This collaboration of 3 artistic disciplines to make walls dance is part of the global initiative : Let's Colour Project." Also check out : Behind The Scenes Video & Mural Process Slideshow. Enjoy!
A quick video that explains more about the Dulux Valentine project I worked on earlier this Summer : Walls Are Dancing. The Final Edit of the Stop-Motion Music Video drops tomorrow. Stay tuned! More Photos : 2010 France Mural Tour (Marseille, Lyon, Paris).
A few weeks ago I had fun hand-painting this series of tees with spraypaint. It's always exciting to try new things and push the limits of different supplies and materials. Click-Zoom.
My favorite part is how the rays fade out over the wrinkles, and where they go right across the stitching and onto the collar. You wont find tees like this at your local boutique. These effects are just not possible with traditional silkscreen techniques. What's next? Maybe I'll do some jean jackets for Autumn if folks are interested.
