Supersymmetry : New Scientist.

I've got two editorial illustrations in the new issue of New Scientist (UK). The Feature Article "In SUSY We Trust" explores some really fascinating Science and Theory. Article Online and Wiki-Knowledge : Large Hadron Collider - Supersymmetry - Higgs Boson/God Particle - Dark Matter - 4th Dimension. It's a huge honor to be asked to visually depict my interpretation of these theories. Working on editorial illustrations is always fun, especially when it is a subject that gets my synapses firing. This assignment literally changed the way I see The World. Thanks Guys! Zooms : LHC Octagon & SUSY Spiral.

B/W B:6 - The Absence Of Grey.
I'm pleased to announce that I've started my annual Black & White Series (MWM B/W B:6). Every year I switch up the process with different techniques, paper sizes, subject matter and aesthetics. I've spent weeks thinking on it, and finally today decided to return to strict black and white ink with no shades of grey. The past 3 Series have been full spectrum greyscale with different concentrations of ink, washes, and layering. I've enjoyed the results, but in an attempt to create new work that challenges me to discover new visual solutions, it seemed right to take it back to the basics. The trick is creating depth, shading, and range with only two hues. Easier said than done, but lots of fun. Stay tuned for the evolution. Click-Zoom.

Mandala Meditation.

I've been having fun today searching my Archives for different words in the image titles. After a simple search for [Mandala] on my external hard drive I was surprised to see how many of these things I've painted over the past ten years. More than 60 of them in various sizes, vocabularies, and techniques. It's fun to put them all in Mac Preview and push Fast Forward. One of these days I'll create a quick video that zooms through all of them. Enjoy! Click-Zoom.

Time & Space Continuum.
One of my all time favorite drawings. It's from MWM B/W B:5 Series (Winter 2008). I must admit, I've been too busy so far this Winter to start working on B/W B:6. But when I do it will be a tornado of goodness. I already have lists of new ideas for drawings and narratives. Stay tuned. Click-Zoom.

MWM X 2010 K2 Astar.
Very excited to share photos of the 2010 K2 Astar that I designed graphics for. The lead time for a project like this is mind blowing, I zipped the tech packs to the good folks at K2 over 18 months ago, and it has just dropped. They look amazing, and arrived here at my Studio just in time for *Severe Weather Season*. Hyped! Click-Zoom.
This graphic exploration was especially fun. K2 Cory and I cooked up a "4 Seasons Narrative" that celebrated Nature, Geometry, Pattern, Ziz-Zag-Flow, and four dedicated color palettes. In the end, some things changed, but the vibe is still alive. The Metallic Ink, Die-Cut Knockouts, and Hologram Detailing are next level.
I love how the tree is clear right down to the plywood. Brilliant!

MWM X Desired Hearts.
The MWM X Desired Hearts Tee is now available over at DH's Online Shop. The 4-color screenprinted type-jam reads "Show Some Love". A great addition to any tee closet (and if my memory serves me, my first red tee graphic). BIG Thanks to the good folks at Desired Hearts.

I tell people it's a lot of "Hard Work", and it is. But it's also me playing "Choose Your Own Adventure Tetris" here in my lab. I love my job! Click-Zoom to see the finer details. BIG Thanks to Alan & Crew.
